The Introduction to Ropes, Splices, and Whipping course is a fun and practical way of learning basic knot-tying skills that can be applied not only onboard but also in camping, hiking and other outdoor activities. 

You will learn:

• The concept and different types of splicing (joining the two ropes permanently)
  
• The importance of properly splicing ropes for various applications, such as rigging, boating, or rock climbing.
• The concept and application of whipping (preventing a rope from natural fraying).

By the end of the training, students are awarded with the Certificate of Completion.
