Mid-November 2023, when running its Advanced Fire Fighting course, Seascope France had the pleasure of greeting MCA at its fireground in Contes. The training course was successfully re-approved by the Agency, and the next session is now scheduled on the 29th of January – 1st of February, 2024.
With Seascope France, it takes only 4 days to complete the course. As our fireground is located only 25 minutes away from Antibes, we do not require extra time for travel. Thanx to the proximity, we are also able to offer the most competitive price for the Advanced Fire Fighting training.

Who is this course for?
If you work in the deck or engineering department and consider moving up the career ladder, then this course is for you. Along with the Yachtmaster Offshore ticket, STCW Proficiency in Advanced Fire Fighting is required to obtain or revalidate CoC for OOW, Chief Mate, and Master ranks. For yacht engineers, AFF certification is required to grow towards 2nd Engineer and higher.
STCW Advanced Fire Fighting training is also highly recommended to all crew involved into fire control and fire fighting operations onboard.
