Basic Wine, Bartending & Mixology
The IAMI GUEST Basic Wine, Bartending & Mixology course is designed to give junior stews and everyone interested in beverage service the foundations of wine knowledge including varities of grapes, wine serving and storage, different types of spirits, garnishing, and making classic cocktails, such as margarita, whiskey sour, mojito, cosmopolitan etc.
The course is recommended for the beginners in the superyacht industry aiming to work in a stew or deck/stew role with little to no experience in bartending.
IMPORTANT: You must be at least 18 years old to attend the course.
Basic Wine, Bartending & Mixology course forms a part of the 5-day Yacht Steward/ess training, the IAMI / GUEST approved interior introductory program. The completion of the full course allows trainees to obtain four certificates required to apply for GUEST Hospitality Certificate of Competency (CoC).
